Older Adult Ministry (YAH) Print E-mail

The vision and mission of the senior adult ministry of HHCHOG seeks to develop a ministry that will develop community, support, outreach, and fill the need for love and concern to all older adults (55 and older) and to educate and empower the church to grasp a new vision within our fellowship.

We seek to provide a balanced and diverse program in our collective ministries.  We encourage a balanced ministry on the local level to include:

  • Fellowship - developing relationships in the church so that no one will be alone
  • Evangelism - making Christ known to every person, especially those 55 and over
  • Spiritual Development - providing a setting where learning and growth, in mind and spirit, can take place
  • Service - making opportunities available for service ministries both to senior adults and by senior adults
  • Physical Concerns - creating an awareness of physical needs and issues that are common to senior adults and how to face them holistically.

We encourage anyone in this age range to regularly choose our web site to be a part of the ministries and activities.
